Description
Why do we recommend this product?
We recommend this product because we have seen through our testing and customer feedback that there are multiple times when the powder colour forms a lump with the molten wax when mixed directly. Thus, we checked in the market and tried to look for something which will not interfere with the colour or the fragrances used in the candle making. This is the oil which we hence recommend.
How should I use this?
Simply mix the powder colour to the oil and make a paste or semi-liquid – this has to be mixed very well. Add this paste or semi-liquid to the wax when it has fully melt. Mix the paste or semi-liquid and wax very well, to ensure the colour gets mixed in the wax properly and evenly. Pour it into the candle mould or container as the case might be.
Will this change my colour in any way?
No, this oil will not affect/ change the candle colour in any way.
Will this add fragrance to my candle perfume/ candle fragrance?
No, this oil is odourless, it will not add or affect the candle perfume/ candle fragrance in any ways.
My final candle colour is very light? How can I increase the intensity of the colour?
Add more powder to the same proportion of oil to increase the colour intensity. This has to be a trial and error method to attain the correct proportion of mix for the resultant colour.
How much oil should I add?
Recommendation is you start with 0.05% of weight of wax and then change the ratio based on the intensity of the colour needed.
